Ms Kate Pearson, MPsych Clin. 

​

Kate completed her Master degree in Clinical Psychology at Edith Cowan University, and has attained endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychological Board of Australia.

​

She has had clinical experience in a range of settings, including private practice as well as rehabilitation and hospitals, and has worked with individuals across the lifespan.

​

Kate has experience working with trauma and is trained in

  • Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

In session, she utilises a range of evidence-based therapies including

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),  

  • Psychodynamic Therapy,

  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT),

  • Exposure-based Response Prevention Therapy 

  • Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT).  

  • Couples/Marriage Counselling

Kate is committed to providing the highest quality service to each of her clients. She believes it is vital that clinicians work in a respectful and collaborative manner with clients, walking alongside them ever-mindful of their own personal values. Kate seeks to integrate the ever-evolving body of psychological knowledge with a warm and humanistic client-centered approach to therapy.
